Question #1: How Do I Add My Own Recommendation in Sales Assistant?

Answer: When a recommendation list is empty, you can manually add products to the list using the Add your own recommendation feature.

Note: The Add your own recommendation feature is available only for the following recommendation engines:

• Similar

• Warranties

• Accessories

• Software

• Services

This feature is not available for the Best Choice and Cloud engines.

To add a recommendation:

1. Open the appropriate recommendation engine in the Attach tab.

2. Locate the Add your own recommendation section.

3. Enter the product SKU in the search field.

4. Click Search.

5. Select the desired product and click Add.

The initial step is to determine which item you would like to add. This may be based on your ongoing experience with the quotes and this Partner, or it may be noted in your sticky notes. Enter the SKU in the search field of Add your own recommendation and click the button (1). Then add an item (2).

Question #2: What Happens After a Recommendation Is Added?

Answer:

• The recommendation is added to the current quote and included in the list of suggestions.

• The recommendation remains available each time the same parent product is selected with that recommendation list.

• You can add multiple recommendations.

• Recommendations are personal and visible only to the associate who created them. Other associates cannot view your recommendations.
