Email To Order (ETO) Resubmission & Error Messages Guide FAQ Xvantage for Associates

Summary:

Email to Order quote issues can now be resolved and resubmitted, for quotes in draft or closed status, within the ETO Exception Dashboard.  Error messages are prominently displayed at the top of the screen, and affected fields are clearly highlighted and making it easier to quickly identify and resolve issues across all tabs.

Question 1: What are the Exception Notifications that can be resubmitted?

Answer: Exception Notifications that can be resubmitted in these cases:

• Quote Validation Failed: Draft in Progress or Quote Closed

• Partial VPN Match Hold

• Duplicate VPN Hold

• B2B Validation Error – Partial Order Validations Failed

• Requested price doesn’t match screen price for SKUs

Note: An email will be sent alerting the rep who submitted the PO of an error related to the ETO order. To see the details of the error, click the link provided. This will take you to next steps to edit and resubmit for the above scenarios. Once the link is clicked you will be taken to the Orders Detail page within Email to Order Exceptions. Review the error reason and click the quote number to open the quote in CRM.  Within CRM, take actions needed to resolve the error issue and resubmit the order. As an example, for a quote in draft status, you can activate or clone the quote and then go back into the Order Details page to refresh and resubmit. Enter the new quote number or remove the quote and resubmit the order.
