How to Add Report Dimensions in Looker Analytics Platform in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This article will provide steps how to add report dimensions in Looker Analytics platform in Xvantage for Associates (X4A).

Note: DIMENSIONS allow users to display data by country, vendor, program type, and analyst. This allows the COG and VDD teams to run comparative or trend analyses at the global or specific country levels. While the main reports show aggregated metrics, Looker can drill down to deal IDs if those dimensions are enabled.

Process:

Go to My Apps and open Okta.
In Okta, search for Looker application and open it.
Click the Explore icon on the Looker homepage.
Enter Everest in the text field.
Select GDE Bids and AutoQuotes.
The GDE Bids and AutoQuotes window opens.
The left navigation pane displays Dimensions and Measures.
The Results table is empty.
The message Select some dimensions and measures appears.
Expand Region Details and select Country.
Expand Vendor Details and select Vendor Name.
Both dimension columns appear in the Results table.
