How to Create a Master Vendor in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This article will provide steps how to create a master vendor in Xvantage for Associates (X4A).

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta, search for X4A and open it.

3. Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu Revenue and click GDE deals & discounts or Navigate to GDE by using the standalone link: gds.ingrammicro.com.

4. If using the standalone link, from the homepage, choose Vendor Programs.

5. Select Add a Master Vendor.

6. Complete the required (mandatory) fields for the Master Vendor:

   • Master Vendor name (example shown: MicrosoW).

   • Master Vendor codes (use the provided vendor master codes).

   • Source (example shown: Excel; other sources exist such as XML and parsing).

   • Discount type / configuraBon (demo used: delta and reseller discount type).

7. Select the correct environment context and click Save.

8. Refresh and confirm the Master Vendor is created and visible in the Vendor Program list.
