How to Create and Manage AutoQuote Header and Line Level Tasks in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This article will provide steps how to create and manage existing AutoQuote Header and Line level tasks in Xvantage for Associates (X4A).

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta, search for X4A and open it.

3. Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu Revenue and click GDE deals & discounts or Navigate to GDE by using the standalone link: gds.ingrammicro.com.

4. If using the standalone link, from the homepage, choose Vendor Programs.

5. Enter a vendor name in the Vendor name text box and select it from the list.

6. Select the vendor program name from the Program name column.

7. Log Select Order, Quote & Visibility Management in the Program Details tab.

8. Verify Auto quote is set to Yes.

Note: Before you can use the AutoQuote Configurator Tool, the Auto quote option must be set to Yes under Vendor Program Details.

9. Select the Autoquote tab in the top menu bar.

10. Click the Tasks tab in the AutoQuote top menu.

11. Click the Task Rules tab in the AutoQuote top menu.

12. Click the + Add Header Level Task button.

13. Expand the new task.

14. Enter a task Name and Description.

15. Click the Lines, Conditional, and Attributes buttons to customize the template for your new task.

16. Click the Save button.

17. Click the + Add Line Level Task button.

18. Expand the new task.

19. Enter a task Name and Description.

20. Click the Conditional and Attributes buttons to customize the template for your new task.

21. Click the Save button.

22. To manage Existing Tasks by following these steps:

    • Click the delete icon next to an existing Header Level Task to remove it from the list.

    • Click the delete icon next to an existing Line Level Task to remove it from the list.

    • The Autoquote configuration updated message appears at the top of the screen.
