How to Create Business Rules in Vendor Programs in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This article will provide steps how to create Business rules in Vendor Programs in GDE in Xvantage for Associates (X4A).

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta, search for Xvantage for Associates (X4A) and open it.

3. Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu and click Revenue.

4. Click GDE deals & discounts or you may navigate to GDE by using the standalone link: Ingram Micro - GDS.

   • If using the standalone link, from the homepage, choose Vendor Programs.

5. Enter a vendor name in the Vendor name text box and select it from the list.

6. Select the vendor program name from the Program name column.

7. Select the Business rules tab.

8. Click + Add new business rule.

9. Select Pre or Post Process.

10. Fill in the WHEN text fields:

    • Select data field

    • Select condition

    • Enter value.

11. Fill in the THEN text fields:

    • Select action

    • Enter reason.

12. Click Save.

13. Click Remove rule to delete a rule.
