Overview:
This article explains how to manage multiple configurations within a Cisco quote in Xvantage for Associates (X4A) CRM. The feature allows you to create, review, approve, and switch between different quote configurations while maintaining a single quote record.
Process:
Go to My Apps and open Okta.
In Okta, search for X4A and open it.
Tip: You can also access Xvantage for Associates directly from My Apps.
In X4A, select Sales from the left navigation menu.
Select CRM from the Sales sub-menu.
In the CRM navigation menu, go to Sales > Quotes.
Open the required Cisco quote.
In the Products tab, locate the Cisco configuration section within the quote.
Once the quote is activated, it is evaluated against a set of credit rules. To verify whether the quote has been placed on hold, open the Summary tab and review the Status Reason field.
Select Credit Reviews and open the corresponding Credit Review record.
In the Quote Summary section, select Configurations to view all configurations associated with the quote.
Review each configuration and take the appropriate action:
Select Approve to approve the configuration.
Select Reject to reject the configuration.
If the quote contains only one configuration, the Approve and Reject options are displayed at the top of the screen. If the quote contains multiple configurations, the approval options are displayed next to each configuration.
If you reject a configuration, enter a reason and select Submit. You can reverse your decision at any time by selecting Undo before submitting the review.
After all configurations have been reviewed, select Submit Changes.
Return to the Quote Summary page and verify the updated quote status. If one or more configurations were approved, the status is updated to Credit Review Partially Approved.
The reviewed configurations are updated according to the actions taken during the credit review process. Approved configurations become available for purchase, while rejected configurations remain unavailable. When only some configurations are approved, the quote status changes to Credit Review Partially Approved.
