How to Resolve IM SKUs in GDE in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This article explains how to resolve and assign Ingram Micro (IM) SKUs to Vendor Part Numbers (VPNs) within GDE Deals & Discounts in Xvantage for Associates (X4A). Resolving IM SKUs enables accurate product mapping and helps ensure deal information is correctly processed.

Process:

Go to My Apps and open Okta.
In Okta, search for X4A and open it. Xvantage for Associates will open in a new tab.
From the left navigation menu, select Revenue, then click GDE deals & discounts.
- Alternative: You can access GDE directly using the standalone URL: gds.ingrammicro.com.
If accessing GDE through the standalone URL, select GDE Deals & Discounts from the home page.
Locate the deal you want to update by searching within Exception Deals using one of the following criteria:
- Deal #
- Vendor name
- Reseller name
- Reseller #
- End user name
- End user #
- Program name
- Master contract
Select the preferred search criterion.
Enter the appropriate search value and press Enter.
In the search results, select the desired Deal number to open the deal.
Review the product lines within the deal.
If an IM SKU has already been automatically resolved for a Vendor Part Number (VPN), it is displayed in the IM SKU column.
To assign or change an IM SKU, select the product line associated with the VPN.
To assign or change an IM SKU, select the product line associated with the VPN and click the pencil icon next to IM SKU column.
A pop out will appear on the right side of the screen.
In the IM SKU field, search for and select the appropriate IM SKU.
- Optional: Tick the checkbox Make Default to automatically use the selected IM SKU for this VPN in future deals.
Click Save to apply the changes.

Note:

If no IM SKU is available for the selected VPN, you will receive a message saying IM SKU not available.
If a recently created IM SKU does not appear in the search results, click the refresh icon above the product grid and try the search again.
