How to Search in GDE Deals and Discounts in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This article explains how to search for deals in GDE Deals & Discounts within Xvantage for Associates (X4A). Users can locate deals using various search criteria and refine results using the Advanced Search feature.

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta, search for X4A and open it. Xvantage for Associates will open in a new tab.

3. From the left navigation menu, select Revenue, then click GDE deals & discounts.

   • Alternative: You can access GDE directly using the standalone URL: gds.ingrammicro.com.

4. If accessing GDE through the standalone URL, select GDE Deals & Discounts from the home page.

5. In the search area, select one of the following search criteria:

   • Deal #

   • Vendor name

   • Reseller name

   • Reseller #

   • End user name

   • End user #

   • Program name

   • Master contract

6. Enter the corresponding search value in the search field.

7. Press Enter to run the search.

8. Review the search results displayed on the page.

9. To view detailed information for a specific deal, select the Deal Number link.

Use Advanced Search

1. Click Advanced Search.

2. In the Advanced Search window, select additional search parameters as needed.

3. Use the + icon within each section to add more filters.

4. Configure the desired search criteria.

5. Click Search deals.

6. Review the filtered results displayed on the main page.

Note: The GDE Deals & Discounts view is similar to the Exception Deals view; however, deal records in GDE Deals & Discounts are view-only and cannot be edited.

Tip: Use Advanced Search when locating deals based on multiple criteria to narrow results and improve search accuracy.
