How to Set a Default Reseller in GDE in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This article will provide steps how to set a default reseller in GDE in Xvantage for Associates (X4A).

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta, search for X4A and open it.

3. Within X4A hover over the left navigation menu Revenue and click GDE deals & discounts or Navigate to GDE by using the standalone link: gds.ingrammicro.com.

4. If using the standalone link, from the homepage, choose Exception deals.

5. You can search in the search by within Exception Deals by:

   • Deal #

   • End User Name

   • Program Name

   • Reseller Name

   • Vendor name

6. Select the way in which you would like to search.

7. Put your corresponding search criteria in the box.

8. Click enter.

9. Click on the hyperlinked Deal# to get into your bid.

10. Click on the pencil next to Reseller#.

11. While in the Edit Reseller, after you have chosen a Reseller BCN, click on the Make Default button.

    1. If the Reseller is already the default, you will get a message telling you this is already set up.

    2. If a different Reseller is already set as the default, you will get a message asking you if you would like to override the other default.

    3. Once you set a default, bids that are received in GDE after the default is set should auto resolve to the BCN you selected as default.

12. Click Save.
