Overview:
Auto-approval is a feature in Xvantage for Associates (X4A) that streamlines the pricing request process by automatically approving submissions that meet minimum profitability thresholds. Business Managers can define these thresholds based on metrics such as Contribution Margin (CM), Return on Working Capital (ROWC), and VLP Modifier %.
This guide explains how Vendor Approvers and the Pricing Operations team can configure and manage auto-approval thresholds.
Process:
Go to My Apps and open Okta.
In Okta, search for Xvantage for Associates (X4A) and open it.
Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu and click Revenue, then select Pricing Administration.
Click on Auto Approval Metrics. This section allows you to manage vendor/customer-specific auto-approval settings.
The table displays vendor information including Vendor Group, Vendor Code, and Vendor Name, followed by the auto-approval thresholds:
Feature Contribution Margin (CM%) Minimum
Feature Return on Working Capital (ROWC%) Minimum
Feature VLP Modifier % Minimum
Click Add at the top of the table.
Enter the Vendor Group, Vendor Code, and set the minimum CM%, ROWC%, and VLP Modifier % thresholds.
Click Save.
