How to Set Up a Bid Parsing Model in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This article will provide steps how to set up a Bid Parsing Model in GDE in Xvantage for Associates (X4A).

Go to My Apps and open Okta.
In Okta, search for Xvantage for Associates (X4A) and open it.
Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu Revenue and click GDE deals & discounts or Navigate to GDE by using the standalone link: Ingram Micro - GDS.
If using the standalone link, from the homepage, choose Vendor Programs.
Enter a vendor name in the Vendor name text box and select it from the list.
Select the vendor program name from the Program name column.
Select the Bid parsing configurator tab in the top menu bar.

Ingestion summary: The Analytics tab will be removed in a future release and replaced by Looker Studio, a Google Analytics tool.

Turn on the VAF Processing option.
The Mailbox name text field auto-populates. This is where new bids are received for this program.
Select a Channel Source from the drop-down.
Enter the Inbox folder name where new bids are stored.
Select a Data Source and File type from the drop-down.
Enter an Email address for parsing failure.
Toggle the Off option if there is more than one template for this vendor program.
Toggle the Off option if the bid data comes from multiple sources.
Select the Import program button to copy an existing trained parsing configuration from a lower GDE environment into a higher environment without retraining the model from scratch.
