How to Share a Connection in CRM

Overview:

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to share a connection in X4A CRM ANZ.

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta search for Xvantage for Associates(X4A) and open it.

3. Within X4A hover over the left navigation menu and click Sales.

4. Select CRM from the Sales sub-menu.

5. From CRM left navigate to Extensions and click Connections. By default, the Active Connections view will be displayed.

6. Locate the connection you want to share and tick the checkbox beside its name.

7. Click the Share located at the command bar.

8. Enter the name or email address of the intended recipient in the Add User/Team field.

9. Grant the user or team access to the record by assigning permissions:

   • Read

   • Write

   • Delete

   • Append

   • Append to

   • Assign

   • Share

10. Click Share to complete the process and maintain ownership of the connection.
