How to Update a Vendor's Catalog in Xvantage for Associates

Overview: 

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to update a vendor’s catalog in Xvantage for Associates (X4A). There are three methods for this process; associates may Add Items, Create Subscription Offers or Cost Update.

Process:

1. Log in to Xvantage for Associates (X4A).

2. In the left navigation menu, click Vendors, then select Catalog Management.

Subtopic 1: Update via Add Items

Overview:

This method allows you to manually add new items to the vendor’s catalog.

1. Click Update Catalog, then choose Add Items from the options.

2. Follow the prompts to manually add new items to the vendor’s catalog.

Subtopic 2: Update via Create Subscription Offers

Overview:

Use this method to set up new subscription offers based on selected SKUs.

1. Click Update Catalog, then select Create Subscription Offers from the drop-down menu.

2. Configure the offer setup:

   • Creation Type: 

     Subscription offers with one individual item, or

     One subscription offer with multiple items

   • Country

   • Vendor: Choose the appropriate vendor from the drop-down list

3. Click Continue.

4. Complete the Create Subscription Offers steps:

   • Choose SKUs – Search and select the items. Click Next once all items are selected.

   • Basic Info – Enter the subscription offer name and required information.

   • SKU Limitations – Specify any item restrictions.

   • Define Rules – Configure applicable rules and policies.

   • Advanced Settings – Set any additional advanced rules.

5. Once all details are entered, click Complete to finalize the subscription offer.

Subtopic 3: Update via Cost Update

Overview:

This option allows you to update item pricing for a vendor catalog.

1. Click Update Catalog, then select Cost Update from the drop-down menu.

2. In the pop-up window, fill in the following:

   • Country

   • Vendor – Choose the vendor from the list

3. Click Continue to proceed with the cost update
