Overview:
This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to create a partial order from a validated quote using the Partial Quote to Order feature in Xvantage CRM (X4A). This process is useful when a customer wants to proceed with only part of the quoted products or quantities.
Process:
Go to My Apps and open Okta.
In Okta, search for Xvantage for Associates(X4A) and open it.
Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu and click Sales.
Select CRM from the Sales sub-menu.
In the Xvantage CRM sidebar menu, navigate to Sales and select Quotes.
Choose your desired quotes list from the quotes view drop-down menu located on the upper left corner of the page.
To find the quote that you need, click the column header and use the Filter By option or the Filter by keyword bar.
Open the quote by clicking the quote name (a hyperlink).
Navigate to the Products tab.
In the product list, tick the checkbox next to each line item the client wants to order.
Click the Convert to Order button.
Important Note:
CRM will generate an order with only the selected quote lines, preserving their respective quantities and prices.
If the client requests fewer units than what's listed in the quote, you must manually adjust the quantity in the QTY column of the Products tab before finalizing the order. This ensures that the order reflects the exact quantity requested without affecting the original quote.
