How to Use the VMF Configurator in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This article provides a step-by-step guide on the functions of the VMF Configurator in Xvantage for Associates.

Subtopic 1: Accessing VMF Configurator

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta, search for Xvantage for Associates and open it.

3. Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu and click Vendors.

4. Then, select VMF Configurator.

Subtopic 2: Searching Vendor Configurations

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta, search for Xvantage for Associates and open it.

3. Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu and click Vendors.

4. Then, select VMF Configurator.

5. By default, you will land on the TS configurations tab.

6. The table displays a list of configurations created by the user.

7. Open the Search By drop-down and select the Vendor Code filter. Additional filters include Configuration Id, Product Category, etc.

8. Enter Vendor Code and make your selection. Optional – Add a Date Range to refine your search.

9. All configurations for the matching vendor code will appear in the results table.

Subtopic 2: Viewing Vendor Configurations

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta, search for Xvantage for Associates and open it.

3. Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu and click Vendors.

4. Then, select VMF Configurator.

5. By default, you will land on the TS configurations tab.

6. Click a number in the Configuration ID column.

7. The Added Fields table displays the active configuration for this vendor.

8. Resellers are prompted to fill in these VMF fields during checkout when purchasing products from this vendor.
