Overview:

This article explains how to use the Warranty Advisor feature in Sales Assistant within Xvantage for Associates (X4A) CRM.

Warranty Advisor automatically identifies products in a quote that may require warranty coverage, such as laptops, desktops, and other hardware devices. Eligible items are flagged with a Warranty Needed indicator, helping you quickly add recommended warranty services to your quote.

Process:

  1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

  2. In Okta, search for X4A and open it.

    • Tip: You can also access Xvantage for Associates directly from My Apps.

  3. In X4A, select Sales from the left navigation menu.

  4. Select CRM from the Sales sub-menu.

  5. In the CRM navigation menu, go to Sales > Quotes.

  6. Ensure the quote view is set to All Quotes - ANZ.

    • If necessary, select the view drop-down menu and choose All Quotes - ANZ.

  7. Locate the required quote using either:

    • Filter By on the column headers, or

    • The Filter by keyword search bar.

  8. Open the quote by selecting the quote name.

  9. On the quote page, select Sales Assistant from the command bar.

    • If the Sales Assistant button is not visible, select the ellipsis (...) to view additional command options.

  10. The Sales Assistant opens in a new browser tab.

  11. In the My Quote pane, select Warranty Needed to view recommended warranty options.

  12. Open the Attach tab and review the available warranty recommendations.

  13. Select the desired warranty and adjust the quantity using the Plus (+) or Minus (-) buttons.
