How to Customize AutoQuote Templates in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This article will provide steps how to customize AutoQuote templates in GDE in Xvantage for Associates (X4A).

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta, search for X4A and open it.

3. Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu Revenue and click GDE deals & discounts or Navigate to GDE by using the standalone link: gds.ingrammicro.com.

4. If using the standalone link, from the homepage, choose Vendor Programs.

5. Enter a vendor name in the Vendor name text box and select it from the list.

6. Select the vendor program name from the Program name column.

7. Log Select Order, Quote & Visibility Management in the Program Details tab.

8. Verify Auto quote is set to Yes.

Note: Before you can use the AutoQuote Configurator Tool, the Auto quote option must be set to Yes under Vendor Program Details.

9. Select the Autoquote tab in the top menu bar.

10. The Autoquote tabs appear at the top of the screen: The Sales and VDD teams use the first five tabs. The last three tabs are reserved for Engineering.

11. The Settings tab is selected, displaying several options.

12. Expand the Skip AutoQuote option: Business and VDD teams can use the Skip Auto-Quote setting to prevent quote

    creation when defined rules are met. For example, if the business does not want a quote to be generated for BCN 202222,

    they can configure the skip Auto-Quote logic specifically for that BCN.

13. The Skip AutoQuote window displays two panes: Template and Preview.

14. The Template pane displays four buttons Conditional, Lines, Attributes, Expand.

15. The Preview pane displays an Update button.

16. Click the Lines button.

17. Three lines appear in the Template pane: Various tabs in the AutoQuote Configurator Tool allow users to configure or customize the header and line levels of a quote template.

    

18. Click the Conditional button.

19. A new condition appears on line 2 of the template pane.

20. Expand the Attributes drop-down.

21. Select an Attribute from the pop-up.

22. The attribute appears in line 2 of the Template pane.

23. Enter a Value below the attribute (Mark Jones).

24. Click the Expand icon.

25. The Template Pane opens in a large window.

26. Click the Minimize icon to close the window.

27. Click the Update icon in the Preview pane.

28. A preview appears of the attribute and value you just added to the template.

29. Click the Source Data button to view the bid content.

30. Click the Training Materials button to download the Self Serve Guide.
