Question #1: How can I use VCAF to create CRM quotes from vendor quotes, bids, and configuration documents?

Answer: VCAF (Vendor & Customer Agnostic Framework) is an AI-powered capability integrated with the Global Discounts Engine (GDE) in Xvantage™. It helps automate the conversion of vendor quotes, special bids, and configuration documents into draft CRM quotes, reducing manual data entry and accelerating the quoting process.

Instead of manually recreating vendor-provided information in CRM, VCAF automatically extracts and structures data such as products, pricing, quantities, and end-user details, making them available for review in a draft CRM quote.

Question #2: How Does the Process Work?

Answer: The quoting workflow consists of four simple steps:

  1. Email the document

    • Forward the vendor quote, bid, or configuration document to the designated Special Bids mailbox.

  2. Automated processing

    • VCAF analyzes the document and converts the information into structured CRM quote lines.

  3. Review the draft quote

    • Search for the generated quote in CRM.

    • Review the pre-populated line items, pricing details, and customer information.

  4. Activate and send

    • Make any required adjustments.

    • Select Activate to finalize and send the quote to the customer.
