Question #1: Can I ship items in one order to multiple locations?
Answer: No. Only one shipping location can be selected per order at checkout. If you want items delivered to different locations, you must place separate orders.
Question #2: Why can’t I add certain products to my cart?
Answer: Some products are vendor restricted. Vendor restricted products cannot be added to the cart and therefore cannot be purchased.
Question #3: Can I add warranties from different vendors in one order?
Answer: No. An order cannot contain warranties from multiple vendors. If you try to add warranties from different vendors, an error message will appear and point out affected SKUs.
Question #4: Does stock availability affect checkout or shipping charges?
Answer: Stock availability does not block checkout. You can place an order even if some items are on backorder.
Important details:
Orders may be split into multiple shipments if there are backorder items in your cart. There will be two options:
“Deliver when items become available” – allows products to ship as available. If the order includes items on backorder, the items that are in stock will ship first and the backordered items will be shipped once they become available.
“Complete Delivery” – allows for consolidated delivery. The entire order will ship together once all items become available
If a product cannot be backordered, it cannot be added to the cart.
Question #5: Do I need to select an end customer before placing an order?
Answer: Yes. You cannot place an order without selecting an end customer.
Question #6: Are there minimum quantity requirements?
Answer: Yes, some orders have minimum quantity requirements that apply to the entire order. If the quantity is below the minimum, add more products to meet the requirement.
Question #7: How to proceed if an error message appears?
Answer: If an error appears and the message does not clearly explain the problem, please raise a ticket with the Support team and include the following information:
Username
Date and time the issue occurred
Detailed description of the issue
Engineering support is required in these cases: There are generic error messages that do not provide sufficient information.
Question #8: How to proceed if there is no error message and still cannot proceed to checkout?
Answer: If the website does not display information correctly or is not behaving as expected, please follow these steps:
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
If the issue persists after clearing cache and cookies, please raise a ticket with Unified Support.
Question #9: Is there a maximum limit in item quantity?
Answer: None. Previously, products marked as unlimited were passed downstream with a default quantity of 1, which caused validation errors in Xvantage when users attempted to increase the quantity. This update removes those restrictions, allowing seamless and flexible quantity selection for unlimited items.
Question #10: What’s Improved?
Answer:
Flexible Quantity Selection: For products that support unlimited quantities, you can now freely increase the quantity during quote creation or editing.
Clear “Unlimited” Display: Quotes and carts will show “Unlimited” wherever applicable, instead of displaying restricted or remaining quantities.
No More Validation Errors: Increasing the quantity of unlimited products will no longer trigger warnings or errors, ensuring a smooth and efficient quoting experience.
