Overview:
This document includes steps on how to add a hardware product to your quote in Xvantage.
Process:
Log in to Xvantage.
Hover over the left navigation and click My Business.
Select Quotes. This will open all quotes.
Click Start Quote.
You will be able to create a standard quote from standard products from the Ingram Micro catalog.
Click Continue.
Enter a Quote Name. This can be used if you need to search for the quote.
Click Continue.
Click the + Add Line Items icon, then choose one of the following methods to add products:
Search Our Catalog
Search for a hardware product using a keyword, VPN, or IM SKU.
Enter the desired quantity.
Click Add to Quote.
Repeat these steps to add more products, if needed.
When finished, click Back to My Quote.
Quick Add
Enter the VPN or IM SKU and the quantity for each product.
Click Add.
Upload Spreadsheet (Optional)
Click Download Template.
Enter the SKU/VPN in the first column and the quantity in the second column.
Save the completed file.
Click Choose File to upload the spreadsheet.
Click Upload.
After the hardware product is added, warranty recommendations will appear.
Click View Options to review the available warranties and select the one that best meets the customer's needs. The selected warranty will automatically be linked to the hardware product.
(Optional) Select an End Customer.
Click Select End Customer and search by Contact or Company.
To add a new end customer, click + Add End User.
Set the Quote Expiration Date.
(Optional) Use the Customization feature to create a customer-branded quote that you can send directly to the end customer.
When you're finished, choose one of the following:
Save to save the quote as a draft.
Activate to make the quote active immediately.
