Overview:
This article explains how to add and order Adobe consumable products in Xvantage™, including important considerations regarding term validity, usage periods, and linking consumables to an existing Adobe subscription.
Adobe Sign transactions, APIs, and Stock Credit Packs are consumable products and differ from standard VIP Marketplace (VIP MP) subscriptions. These products are purchased for use within a specific term and expire if they are not used before the customer's VIP MP anniversary date.
The validity period of a consumable aligns with the customer's VIP MP agreement term. For example, if a customer has six months remaining before their anniversary date, the consumable must be used within those six months.
To avoid over-purchasing, ensure the quantity ordered reflects the customer's anticipated usage during the remaining term. Unused consumables do not roll over to the next agreement term and cannot be carried forward after renewal.
Process:
Log in to Xvantage.
In the search bar, enter Adobe.
Select the CLOUD tab, then choose the appropriate subscription from the results.
Locate the required consumable product and click Select Options.
Choose the desired consumable configuration and select Add to Cart.
Click the Cart icon in the upper-right corner.
From the cart, choose one of the following:
Continue to Checkout, or
Convert to a Quote
If the customer already has an Adobe subscription, select the same customer account in Xvantage™ that is associated with the existing subscription.
During checkout, enter the same Adobe administrator details used for the customer's existing Adobe subscription to ensure the consumable is linked correctly.
On the final checkout page, enter the Purchase Order (PO) number and click Place Order.
Important
Consumable products are tied to the customer's current VIP MP agreement term.
Available usage time depends on the number of months remaining before the VIP MP anniversary date.
Unused consumables expire at the end of the term and do not carry over after renewal.
To ensure proper provisioning, use the same customer account and administrator details associated with any existing Adobe subscription.
