This article explains how to assign the Technical Support role in Xvantage and outlines the permissions and access restrictions associated with this role.
Process:
Log in to Xvantage using an account with administrator privileges.
Click the user profile icon in the upper-right corner and select Account Settings under My Account.
Select the Manage Users tab.
Locate the user account that requires the role update and click the Edit (pencil) icon in the Action column.
In the Permission Level Settings section, select Technical Support.
Click Save to apply the changes.

Other commercial and transactional features
Additional Restrictions:
Standard left-hand navigation is not available.
Navigation options for restricted functionality are hidden.
Restricted areas cannot be accessed through standard navigation paths.

When users with the Technical Support role sign in:
Only support-related resources and functions are available.
Commercial and transactional functionality is hidden and inaccessible.
Navigation is limited to areas required for technical support activities.
