Prev Next

Overview:

Data mapping allows you to define how information is synchronized between Xvantage™ and Salesforce CRM. By configuring data mappings, you can control which Salesforce fields receive data from Xvantage and determine which Salesforce information is shared with Xvantage.

Process:

  1. Log in to Xvantage.

  2. From the left navigation menu, select Integrations Hub.

  3. Select Manage Apps.

  4. Locate Salesforce CRM and click View Settings.

Note: If Salesforce CRM is not listed, you must install and configure the integration before you can manage data mappings.

  1. On the Salesforce Settings page, scroll to the Data Mapping section.

  2. Review the available mapping rows to configure how data is exchanged between Xvantage and Salesforce.

  3. Select the appropriate mapping type:

    • Send to Ingram: Maps Salesforce fields that send data to Xvantage.

    • Receive from Ingram: Maps Xvantage fields that populate Salesforce records.

  4. Use the available drop-down menus to map the Salesforce fields to the corresponding Xvantage fields.

  5. Verify your mappings to ensure data is synchronized as intended.

  6. Click Save Changes to apply your updates.

Tip: Review your field mappings carefully before saving to avoid incorrect or incomplete data synchronization.

Note: Select Cancel if you want to discard your changes and keep the existing configuration.
