Overview:

Follow the steps below to purchase an AWS Distribution Billing Account subscription. Resellers need to request and sign the Distribution Sellers Agreement through AWS Partner Central for the Distribution Billing Account to be created. For more details, please refer to AWS documentation.

Note: Transferring active DSA’s to Ingram Micro

Distribution Seller Agreements (DSA) are transferable between distributors. If you need to transfer your signed DSA, an email notification must be sent to AWS from you (the Reseller) to notify AWS that you are looking to transfer distributors. Email alias is distribution-program-team@amazon.com.

Process:

1. Log in to Xvantage.

2. In the search bar, input AWS Distribution Billing Account and select the drop-down, AWS Distribution Billing Account.

3. Click the cart icon to add the item to your cart.

4. From the upper right corner of the screen, access your Cart by clicking the cart icon

5. Once in the Cart, select Continue to checkout.

6. Fill out the Reseller Information: Amazon Partner Network ID and AWS Partner Tier. Leave the under the Customer information Order Mode as Create a new AWS account under the Ingram Micro Organization.

7. Click Save & Continue.

8. You will be prompted to enter the Amazon Partner Network ID and AWS Partner Tier again. Click Save & Continue.

9. In the Checkout page, you must enter the PO Number, select Payment Method and verify that the Billing Address is correct. Select Place Order.

10. The Order Acknowledgement will complete the order process. You can check the order status by clicking Home and clicking on Orders.

11. The order will show Provisioning in Progress until it has been completed. The order for purchasing AWS Distribution Billing Account will not be processed within 24 hours, unlike what is stated in the confirmation message. This is because AWS manually validates the DSA information and approves it only on Friday evenings, every week.
