How to Process Adobe Late Renewals in Xvantage™

Prev Next

Summary:

This article explains how to identify eligible Adobe subscriptions and process a late renewal in Xvantage™.

Important Information:

  • Adobe subscriptions use an Evergreen model and do not expire. An Evergreen subscription can be either active or dormant and remains available even when it contains zero licenses.

  • When Auto Renewal is disabled and the renewal date passes, the subscription transitions to an Evergreen state and all licenses are removed from the subscription.

  • During a late renewal, you can only renew the original license quantity or reduce the quantity. To increase the number of licenses, submit a separate change order after the renewal is complete.

Process:

This is an optional field. For complex technical issues, use this field to specify the underlying cause of the problem.

  1. Log in to Xvantage.

  2. From the left navigation menu, select My Business → Subscriptions.

  3. Locate the Adobe subscription eligible for late renewal. These subscriptions typically show 0 licenses while remaining active in an Evergreen state.

  4. Open the subscription.

  5. When the Evergreen subscription message appears, do one of the following:

    • Click Late Renewal, or

    • Click Change, then select Late Renewal.

  6. The original renewal quantity is automatically populated in the Quantity field. Adjust the quantity as needed, then click Next.

Note: You can maintain the original quantity or reduce it during a late renewal. Increasing the license quantity is not supported as part of the late renewal process.

  7. Complete or update any required vendor-specific information, then click Next.

  8. Review and accept the applicable terms and conditions.

  9. Click Late Renewal to submit the renewal request.

The late renewal order is now complete.
