Summary:
This article explains how to process an Adobe return in Xvantage™, including eligibility requirements, return limitations, and the steps required to submit a return request.
Adobe VIP Marketplace Return Policy
Adobe VIP Marketplace subscriptions may be returned or canceled within 14 days (336 hours) of the original purchase date or renewal date.
Within the return window, customers can:
Return an entire subscription and receive a credit.
Reduce license quantities by returning eligible licenses.
Important: After the 14-day return window expires, returns and cancellations are no longer permitted.
If the return window has expired:
The subscription remains active until its next renewal date.
Auto-renewal can be disabled to prevent future renewal charges.
Important Considerations
Note: Adobe does not support partial returns of a subscription line item. If a customer wants to reduce the quantity of licenses purchased, the entire line item must be returned and a new order must be placed with the desired quantity.
Note: For renewal orders that include a billing order, the return must be processed from the associated $0 Renewal (RN) order.
Process:
Log in to Xvantage.
From the left navigation menu, select My Business → Subscriptions.
Search for the customer and open the applicable subscription.
Select History, then open the order you want to return.
Click Start Return.
Select the line item or items to be returned, then click Continue.
Review the return details and click Confirm Your Return.
After the return is processed, a return reference number is generated for tracking purposes.
After the Return Is Submitted
The return request is processed automatically.
A return reference number is provided for future reference.
The corresponding credit is applied automatically and appears on a subsequent invoice.
