Overview:
This article explains the prerequisites for transacting Microsoft Cloud products through Xvantage™. Before placing Microsoft Cloud orders, you must register in Microsoft Partner Center, obtain a Microsoft Partner ID, accept the Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA), and establish an indirect reseller relationship with Ingram Micro.
Prerequisites:
Before you can place Microsoft Cloud orders in Xvantage™, ensure that you have:
A registered Microsoft Partner Center account
A Microsoft Partner ID (formerly MPN ID)
An accepted Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA)
An active indirect reseller relationship with Ingram Micro
Process:
Step 1: Register in Microsoft Partner Center
Register your organization in Microsoft Partner Center using the following link: https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/dashboard/account/exp/enrollment/welcome?cloudInstance=Global&accountProgram=Reseller
Complete all required registration fields and submit your application.
Step 2: Obtain Your Microsoft Partner ID
After registration is complete, sign in to Microsoft Partner Center.
Locate your Microsoft Partner ID in your partner profile.
You may see the following Partner IDs:
Local Microsoft Partner ID
Global Microsoft Partner ID
These identifiers serve as your organization's Microsoft partner reference and are used when interacting with both Microsoft and Ingram Micro.
Step 3: Accept the Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA)
Review and accept the Microsoft Partner Agreement using the following link: https://partner.microsoft.com/en us/pcv/register/joinnow/enrollmentwelcome/valueaddedreseller
Complete all required steps to finalize the agreement.
Step 4: Establish an Indirect Reseller Relationship with Ingram Micro
In Microsoft Partner Center, register as an indirect reseller of Ingram Micro.

Step 5: Verify Completion
After completing the setup process, confirm that you have:
An accepted Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA)
A valid Microsoft Partner ID
An active Ingram Micro indirect reseller relationship
Important Information
Note: The Microsoft onboarding and validation process typically takes 4 to 5 business days, depending on Microsoft's due diligence and verification requirements.
Once all approvals are complete, you can begin placing Microsoft Cloud orders through Xvantage™. During order creation, you may be required to provide your Microsoft Partner ID.
