Overview:
This article explains how to use the Seamless Move feature to transfer an Adobe VIP Educational subscription to Xvantage™ and convert it to an Adobe VIP Marketplace Educational subscription.
Before starting the transfer, install the Ingram Micro Seamless Move service in Xvantage™. This service is available at no cost and enables the subscription migration process.
Prerequisites
Before initiating the transfer, ensure that:
The customer account has already been created in Xvantage™.
You have the customer's:
Account ID
Adobe VIP Number
Important: The transfer cannot be completed if the customer account does not already exist in Xvantage™.
Process:
Log in to Xvantage.
From the left navigation menu, navigate to My Business → Cloud Services.
In the Cloud Marketplace, select Seamless Move from the left navigation menu.
Select Adobe and open the Transfers tab.
Enter the customer's Account ID and Adobe VIP Number.
Click Next.
The system displays the existing VIP subscription details, including:
Customer name
Renewal date
Licensed products
License quantities
Review the subscription information and click Next.
Configure the new Adobe VIP Marketplace subscription that will be created as part of the transfer.
Select the appropriate Educational subscription plan required by the customer.
Expand the Resources section, if needed, to review the products and licenses included in the new subscription.
Review the migration details and click Next.
Verify all information and click Import to submit the transfer request.
A notification appears in the upper-right corner of the page confirming that the Seamless Move request has been received.
Once the transfer is complete, verify that:
The original renewal date has been retained.
The license quantities have been transferred successfully to the Adobe VIP Marketplace subscription.
Additional Information
Note: Adobe subscription renewals occur three days before the subscription anniversary date.
Note: The licenses from the original VIP Educational subscription are transferred to the new VIP Marketplace Educational subscription and remain associated with the customer's renewal cycle.
