How to Transfer an AWS Master Payer Account

Prev Next

Overview:

The process below only caters to Ingram Inbound AWS transfers. When transferring a Master Payer account, this entails also transferring over any payee accounts attached to that Master Payer.

Resellers are responsible for End User Reporting (EUR) monthly, which is a vital step in making sure the correct discounts are applied.

Note:

  • It is recommended that the effective transfer date is the 1st of the following month. This is to prevent split billing.

  • Ingram Micro is unable to process the transfer request if the transferring AWS Account has past due amounts. Please ensure that all transferring AWS accounts have current account balances PRIOR to submitting the transfer request.

  • Please be aware, if you onboard accounts with past due invoices, AWS may request your assistance in getting these invoices paid. To avoid any service disruptions in the customer’s AWS environment, it is best practice to review payment history with your customer prior to transfer and notify your customer of this risk if they do not make payments.
