Overview:
This article explains what an API is, how to access Ingram Micro’s Xvantage APIs, and how to begin using them to automate your business operations.
Process:
Log in to Xvantage.
Hover over the left navigation menu and click Services.
Select Automation, then APIs.
To start using the APIs:
Apply for a developer account using your unique Ingram Micro Customer Number or Partner ID.
Once approved, you’ll receive access to the sandbox environment and API keys to begin testing.
It’s recommended to inform your Ingram Micro sales rep to speed up approval.
Note:
APIs are free to use.
They operate in real time.
Webhooks are available for near real-time notifications, such as order status and stock updates.
Always use the latest API version to access new Xvantage features.
