Overview:
This article explains how to use the Seamless Move feature in Xvantage™ to transfer Adobe Government subscriptions from Adobe VIP to Adobe VIP Marketplace while preserving the existing renewal date and license quantities.
Important: Before starting the transfer, ensure that the Ingram Micro Seamless Move service has been enabled in your Xvantage™ account.
Prerequisites
Before initiating the transfer, verify that:
The customer account already exists in Xvantage™.
You have the customer's:
Customer ID
Adobe Authorization Code
Process:
Log in to Xvantage.
From the left navigation menu, navigate to My Business → Cloud Services.
From the left navigation menu, select Seamless Move.
Select Adobe.
Open the Transfer In tab.
Enter the customer's Customer ID and Adobe Authorization Code.
Click Next.
The current Adobe VIP subscription details are displayed, including:
Customer name
Renewal date
Licensed products
License quantities
Review the subscription information and click Next.
Review the Adobe VIP Marketplace subscription that will be created through the transfer process.
Expand the Resources section, if needed, to review the licenses and products included in the new subscription.
Click Next.
Review the transfer details and click Import to submit the transfer request.
A notification appears in the upper-right corner of the page confirming that the transfer request has been received.
Once the transfer is complete, verify that:
The original renewal date has been retained.
All applicable license quantities have been transferred to the Adobe VIP Marketplace subscription.
After the Transfer
The transferred subscription reflects the original Adobe VIP renewal date and maintains the associated license quantities within the new Adobe VIP Marketplace subscription.
Note: Adobe subscription renewals occur three days before the subscription anniversary date.
