Overview:
This document includes steps on how to create your own quote in Xvantage.
Process:
Log in to Xvantage.
Hover over to the left navigation menu and click My Business.
Select Quotes.
Click Start Quote.
It will pop out you a window that will give you an option to choose quote:
Standard Quote - Create a quote without linking directly to a vendor configuration.
Quote using a vendor deal – A drop-down menu will appear, providing you with a list of available vendors that you can select to import a deal from.
Click Continue. A new window will show in which you must enter a name of your quote and then click the Save button. The name is important as you can search with it in your quote section.
Xvantage will generate you a Quote ID (QUO-XXXXXXX-XXXXXX) which is your quote number in Ingram, in which you will need to fill out the below fields:
Line items – you need to click on the Add line items icon to add your products and you will receive two options. When you have finished with the selection of your products, you will find your Total Quote Amount under the product lines in the Reseller summary section under your product lines:
Search our catalog – in this section you can search for a product by a keyword, VPN or IM SKU. After you have found your product, you need to select how many quantity you want to add in your quote and click on the blue icon Add to quote. You can add how many products you would like to order. When you finish with the selection of your products, you need to click the Back to quote button in the top right corner.
Quick add by VPN or SKU – this option allows you to do your quote creation much faster if you have already the VPN or SKU that you are searching for and you know how much you want to order. When you have finished choosing your products, you click on the Add button. There is a second way to add products to this option – Upload Spreadsheet. If you want to add many products, you could click on the Download template which will download your Excel file in which you must put in Column 1 the SKU/VPN numbers and in Column 2 the quantity for each product. When you have filled the template, you need to upload it by Choose file and after you have finished click on the Upload button.
Select an end customer - some products and services require end customer details, click Select an end customer to add your customer’s details. You may search by Company Name or Contact name. Click Select to add the end customer’s details.
Quote Expires on - select a date in which the quote will expire.
Toggle the Customization button to the right if you want to use the customization option in the quote creation. You can use Xvantage to create a quote template for your customer (end user) that you can send to them directly.
Once the Customization has been activated, you can see the customize your quote section. You can customize your contact information and message before sending it to the end user.

When you have finished with the previous steps, you could Save the quote for later activation or activate the quote immediately.
