Summary:
This FAQ explains the most common reasons an account may be suspended and provides steps to help resolve account, payment, and credit-related issues.
Question: Why has my account been suspended?
Answer: An account may be suspended due to a credit hold, overdue payments, payment issues, or other account restrictions. Review the sections below to identify and resolve the issue:
Check for Outstanding Payments
Verify whether:
Any invoices are past due.
Your account has exceeded its approved credit limit.
There are unresolved billing or payment issues.
Outstanding financial obligations may result in account restrictions, order processing delays, or account suspension.
Verify Your Payment Information
Ensure that your payment method:
Is active and valid.
Has not expired.
Contains accurate billing information.
Incorrect or outdated payment details may affect your account status and prevent orders from being processed.
Review Credit Hold Status
If your account is on Credit Hold:
New orders and subscription renewals may be blocked.
Some subscriptions may be suspended.
Existing services typically continue running unless they require monthly renewal.
AWS Subscription Considerations
For AWS subscriptions:
AWS does not support account suspension.
AWS accounts can only be closed or canceled.
Once an AWS account is closed, the associated AWS Account ID cannot be reused. [My Account...ntage™.pdf | PDF]
