Summary:
This article explains how Cisco GDE automation streamlines the quote-to-order process by automatically loading ACOP and end-user information during order creation. It covers how auto quotes are generated, how multiple BCNs are managed, situations where auto quotes are not created, the Cisco split and remove process, and how CCW-R transactions differ from standard GDE quoting by using the POCC process instead of ACOPs.

Do CCW-R orders still use ACOPs?
Question #1: Do I still need to update end user information on quotes in CRM?
Answer: No. End-user information and ACOP details are automatically loaded when the order is created. There is no need to update quote information in CRM before placing the order.
Question #2: What if my customer has multiple BCNs
Answer: Auto quotes are generated using the customer's default BCN. If multiple BCNs are associated with the customer, GDE displays all available options and allows users to select a different BCN, which generates a new auto quote for that account. When ordering through a linked account, no BCN update is required if the desired BCN is already associated with the customer.

Question #3: Are there any scenarios where auto quotes are not created?
Answer: Yes. Auto quotes are not created in specific scenarios. In these cases, customers should continue using the existing self-service process. If an auto quote is generated but remains inactive, Sales should follow up with the customer regarding the opportunity.
Deals exceeding $1 million are auto quoted but are not activated, allowing associates to review them before ordering.
Auto quotes are not created for deals that include annuity products.
Auto quotes are not created when: Auto renewal is enabled, and/or the billing method is not prepaid.
Auto quotes are not created for Enterprise Agreement transactions.
Auto quotes are not created when a deal contains only services.
Auto quotes are not created for CCW-R quotes.
Question #4: How do I manage the split and remove process for Cisco in GDE?
Answer: Please refer to the dedicated process document for step-by-step instructions on managing the Cisco split and remove process in GDE: Cisco GDE Split and Remove Guide
Question #5: Do CCW-R orders still use ACOPs?
Answer: No. CCW-R quotes no longer use ACOPs. Instead, they use a POCC (Price Override Cost Capture) process, which automatically overrides costs on SKUs.
CCW-R quotes do not utilize ACOPs and do not use GDE for quote creation.

When an IM quote is created through the CTO App or X4C, data is retrieved directly from Cisco's API.
The API provides all necessary information, including costs, discounts, Magic Keys, and other quote details.
Quote pricing is derived from the Vendor List Prices (VLPs) loaded on the CTO vendor codes.
During checkout, costs, prices, Magic Keys, and related data are transferred into Impulse.
The order is then sent to Cisco for processing.
CCW-R quotes remain visible in GDE for data storage purposes only when the API is called during IM quote creation.
No ACOPs are created and no auto quotes are generated for CCW-R transactions.
