How to Use the Product Import Feature When Creating a Quote in CRM

Overview:

This article explains how to access and use the Product Import feature when creating or editing a quote in Xvantage for Associates (X4A) CRM.

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta, search for X4A and open it.

   • Tip: You can also access Xvantage for Associates directly from My Apps.

3. In X4A, select Sales from the left navigation menu.

4. Select CRM from the Sales sub-menu.

5. In the CRM navigation menu, go to Sales > Quotes.

6. Ensure the quote view is set to All Quotes.

   • To change the view, select the view drop-down menu and choose All Quotes.

7. Locate the required quote using either:

   • Filter By on the column headers, or

   • The Filter by keyword search bar.

8. Open the quote by selecting the quote name.

9. Select the Product Import tab.

10. The Product Import tab provides the following options for adding products to a quote:

    • Bulk Upload – Import multiple products from a file.

    • Copy Products – Copy products from an existing quote.

    • Vendor Import – Import products using vendor-provided data.

    • Mass Upload – Add multiple products using supported upload methods.

    • Vendor Configurator – Configure and import vendor-specific solutions.
