How to Enable Insights in Xvantage™

Overview:

This article explains how to enable Insights for a user in Xvantage™. Insights provides access to analytics and reporting features that help users monitor spending patterns, track consumption trends, and gain greater visibility into their cloud investments. Enabling this permission allows users to make more informed, data-driven decisions.

Process:

1. Log in to Xvantage.

2. Select your profile icon (the circle displaying your initials) in the upper-right corner of the page.

3. From the menu, select Account Settings.

4. Select Manage Users.

5. Locate the user you want to grant access to Insights.

   • Verify that Active User is enabled.

   • Select the Pencil icon in the Action column to edit the user profile.

6. On the Edit User page, scroll to the bottom of the permissions section.

7. Under View Insights, enable the toggle, then select Save to apply the changes.

8. The selected user can now access Insights within Xvantage™ and view available analytics and reporting data.
