Overview:

This article outlines how to manage renewal options for multiple Microsoft subscriptions in X4C (Xvantage for Customers).

Note: Use this approach when you want to apply the same renewal choice to more than one subscription at once.

Process:

  1. Log in to Xvantage.

  2. Navigate to the left panel and select My Business.

  3. Click on Subscriptions.

  4. Click the Manage Renewal option button in the banner just above the subscription list.

  5. Select multiple subscriptions by checking their boxes in the list.

  6. The Manage renewal options button on the top of the page becomes active. The label shows the selected count of subscriptions.

  7. A list with three options will appear:

  • Enable auto-renew – The subscription will be renewed yearly.

  • Renew to extend service term – By the end of your billing term, this will become a new SKU with an Extended Service term and convert a monthly term subscription, which impact the subscription price, and will continue every month until it is changed or cancelled.

  • Turn off auto-renew – These subscriptions will be cancelled at the end of the billing term.

  1. Select an option from the list and click on Confirm renewal options button. There will be a message to confirm the update:

  • “N subscriptions renewal options were updated to keep auto-renew enabled.”

  • “N subscriptions renewal options were updated to renew to extend service term.”

  • “N subscriptions renewal options were updated to be cancelled at the end of the billing term.”

  1. Select Close (or the X) to dismiss the success window and return to the subscriptions list.
