Import Error Adobe Subscription Troubleshooting: No Tier Config Found in Xvantage™

This article explains why the No Tier Config Found error occurs when importing an Adobe subscription through Seamless Move and how to create the required Adobe tier configuration in Xvantage™.

Issue:

When attempting to import an Adobe subscription using Seamless Move in Xvantage™, the following error may be displayed:

“No Tier Config Found”

This error prevents the subscription import from completing successfully.

Cause:

The No Tier Config Found error occurs when the reseller account has not previously transacted Adobe products through Ingram Micro.

When no Adobe transaction history exists:

The required Adobe tier configuration has not yet been created in Xvantage™.
Xvantage™ cannot validate the reseller's Adobe marketplace configuration.
Subscription imports are blocked until the Adobe tier configuration is established.

This issue is commonly encountered when importing an Adobe subscription before placing the reseller's first Adobe VIP Marketplace order.

Resolution:

To create the required Adobe tier configuration:

Sign in to Xvantage™.
Search for an Adobe VIP Marketplace product, such as:
- Adobe VIP Marketplace - Only Commercial
- Adobe VIP Marketplace - Government
- Adobe VIP Marketplace - Education
Add the selected product to your cart.
Proceed through the checkout process without submitting the order.
Continue until you reach the Reseller Options step.

At this stage, Xvantage™ automatically creates the required Adobe tier configuration for your account.

Note: You do not need to place the order. Simply reaching the Reseller Options step is sufficient to generate the configuration.

Return to Seamless Move.
Retry the subscription import.

Verification

After the Adobe tier configuration has been created:

Restart the import process in Seamless Move.
Verify that the subscription can be imported without the No Tier Config Found error.
If the error persists, confirm that the Adobe tier configuration was created successfully and try again. If necessary, contact Ingram Micro Support for assistance.
