1. Key Steps:

• Relationship: The customer accepts a relationship request from the Target Partner directly or through a reseller. The customer or reseller must have an active relationship with Ingram Micro.

• Request: The Target Partner initiates a transfer request. For outbound from Ingram, the reseller submits the Wufoo Outbound Transfer Request form, routed to the country-specific Ingram Micro email alias.

• Review: The Source Partner reviews the request and selects specific subscriptions for transfer.

• Completion: Once approved, billing ownership shifts to the Target Partner. Ingram notifies the reseller and processes any credits in the next billing cycle.

2. Transfer Paths and Business Rules

Reframed around Ingram Micro's position (Distributor):

Inbound to Ingram Micro

• Direct Bill Partner → Ingram Micro

• Other distributors → Ingram Micro

Outbound from Ingram Micro

• Ingram Micro → Direct Bill Partner

• Ingram Micro → Other distributor

3. Key Rules

• Initiation: The Target Partner starts the process. For outbound from Ingram, the reseller triggers the process via the Wufoo form.

• Consent: Source partners must explicitly approve the transfer.

• Permissions: Specific roles in Ingram can approve transfers.

• Indirect Resellers: Must coordinate with Ingram Micro (the billing owner) to execute transfers.

• Transitioning Partners: Direct Bill partners moving to an indirect

model can transfer customers to Ingram Micro.

• Regional Alignment: Source and target partners must operate in the same Microsoft region.

• Request Expiration: Transfer requests expire in 30 days if no action is taken.

• Moving to another Indirect Provider/Distributor — Approved/declined after review

• Acquisition/Merger — Considered for approval (with due diligence)

7. Timelines & SLAs
