Question 1: When is the Deal Analyzer aging report sent, who receives it, and what does it cover?
Answer: Every Monday, the Deal Analyzer aging report is distributed to Ingram Sales Associates who created the Deal Analyzer opportunities, as well as their L1 and L2 managers. At the end of each fiscal month, the report is also sent to the CFE for each country involved.
The aging report includes all deals that are pending approval—whether from Credit, Legal, Profitability, or IMFS—as well as deals with approved quotes that have not yet been ordered. Keep in mind that the aging days are calculated based on the deal submission date.
Question 2: Why is a sales order number required for every approved deal, and who is responsible for updating it?
Answer: Every approved deal requires a sales order number for audit purposes. The sales associate handling the multiperiod deal is responsible for adding and updating the sales order number once the deal is approved and ordered.
Question 3: How do I deactivate a deal after it has been fully approved?
Answer: To deactivate a deal after approval, open a deal that has already been fully approved. Navigate to the Post Approval tab and locate the section Deal is accepted by all parties. Select the No checkbox. Once selected, two mandatory fields will appear. The deal status will automatically change to Deactivated, and an email notification will be sent. Choose a reason for deactivation, add a comment, and then click Save to complete the process.
Question 4: How do I deactivate a deal before it is fully approved, and what happens afterward?
Answer: To deactivate a deal that is still pending approval, open the deal with the status Pending Approval. This option should be used if the deal was submitted by mistake or is no longer valid. Click the Deactivate button at the top of the deal, select a reason, and save. The deal and its corresponding quote in CRM will be marked as Deactivated/Rejected.
Question 5: When do deactivated deals appear on the Aging Reports list, and how long do they stay there?
Answer: Aging Reports are automatically sent every Monday to Ingram Micro Associates. Deactivated deals will appear on this report only during the week following their deactivation. After that first week, the deactivated deals will be removed from the Aging Reports list and will no longer appear in subsequent reports.
