Overview:
This article outlines how to download and correctly fill out the Pricing Rule Template for Vendor Level Pricing (VLP) requests in bulk via Xvantage for Associates (X4A).
Process:
Go to My Apps and open Okta.
In Okta, search for Xvantage for Associates (X4A) and open it.
Within X4A, hover over the left navigation menu and click Revenue, then select Pricing Rules Request.
If prompted, choose the country that you want to view from the dropdown menu.
Click on the Upload Pricing Rule tab to access the bulk upload feature.
Download the Pricing Rule Template located on the right side of the screen.
Open the downloaded template and complete the required fields:
Business Justification: Select from the dropdown.
Revenue or Profit Objective: Enter your goal.
Partner Level: Select from the dropdown if applicable. If the option isn't available, note it in the comment field later. If not for partner pricing, select None.
Branch Customer Number and Vendor Code: Enter these values.
VLP Percentage, Effective Date, and Expiration Date: Fill in as needed.
Cost Basis: Select from the dropdown.
Velocity Code (optional): Choose from the dropdown if needed; otherwise, leave blank to apply pricing to the entire vendor code.
Save the completed file for upload.
