How to Use Filters for Related Products in Engine Tester in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This document illustrates the steps on how to use filters for Related products in Engine Tester in Xvantage for Associates (X4A).

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta. 

2. In Okta search for Xvantage for Associates(X4A) and open it. 

3. Withing X4A hover over the left navigation menu and click Sales.

4. Select Engine Tester from the sub-menu.

5. Go to the Select the recommendation engine obligatory section. 

6. Browse the different engines using the information icon (i in a circle) next to the name of each engine. It gives details on what type of recommendation results each engine displays.

7. Click on the tile with the name of the chosen engine.

8. Fill out the requested info as per engine (for example country, customer BCN, SKU).

9. Browse the results in the left pane.

10. Choose an item by clicking on it.

11. The Cross-sell pane loads the results for recommendations for complementary products to include in a quote. 

12. Click on the Related button.

13. The button becomes blue, and the right pane loads results for related products to include in the quote.

14. Select any tab in the pane to filter by categories.

15.  Click on the Filter field at the right corner of the pane to apply additional filters.

16. The drop-down menu offers the following three options: Category, Subcategory and Vendor.

17. Choose one, several, or all options and browse the results.

18. Use the Clear All button at the upper right corner of the drop-down filter menu to clear all results and create a new set of filters.
