How to Use Filters for Cross-Sell Recommendations in Xvantage for Associates

Overview:

This document illustrates the steps on how to use filters for Cross-Sell recommendations in Engine Tester in Xvantage for Associates (X4A).

Go to My Apps and open Okta.
In Okta search for Xvantage for Associates(X4A) and open it.
Withing X4A Hover over the left navigation menu and click Sales.
Select Engine Tester from the sub-menu.
Select the recommendation engine. To understand what type of recommendation results each engine provides, hover over the information icon next to the engine name.
Enter the required information, such as Country, Customer BCN, and/or SKU.
Click Generate List to view the recommendation results.
Browse the results in the left pane.
Choose an item by clicking it.
The Cross-sell pane loads the results for recommendations for complementary products to include in a quote.
Select any of the tabs in the pane to filter by categories such as Accessories, Warranties and services, Software, Featured, Vendors Recommend, Similar Items.
Click on the Filter field at the right corner of the pane to apply additional filters.
The drop-down menu offers the following three options: Category, Subcategory and Vendor.
Choose one, several, or all options and browse the results.
Use the Clear All button at the upper right corner of the drop-down filter menu to clear all results and create a new set of filters.
