Migration Error Adobe Subscription Troubleshooting: No Plans Available in Xvantage for Associates

Prev Next

Summary:

This article explains why the “No plans available” error appears during an Adobe subscription migration and how to determine the appropriate next steps.

Issue:

When attempting to migrate an Adobe subscription using Seamless Move, the migration fails with an error indicating that no plans are available.

The import cannot be completed successfully.

Cause:

This error occurs when the Adobe SKUs on the subscription do not exist or are not active in the Ingram Micro Marketplace.

Common scenarios include:

  • The SKUs on the Adobe VIP agreement are new and not yet live in CMP

  • The SKUs are end‑of‑sale (EOS) and no longer supported

  • The marketplace cannot map the subscription to any valid active plans

As a result, the migration process cannot create the required plans to complete the import.

Resolution:

Follow these steps to determine the appropriate resolution:

  1. Verify whether the SKUs on the customer’s Adobe subscription are:

    • Newly introduced and not yet live or End‑of‑sale (EOS)

  2. If the SKUs are not yet live:

    • Advise the customer to wait until the SKUs become available

    • Retry the migration once the plans are live

  3. If the SKUs are End‑of‑Sale:

    • The subscription cannot be migrated

    • Migration is not supported for EOS products

    • Advise the customer to purchase a net‑new subscription using active SKUs in Xvantage

  4. Proceed with active products:

    • Assist Sales in identifying supported replacement SKUs

    • Place a new order using active plans to ensure continuity of service

Suggested messaging to customer or reseller:

“The Adobe products on this subscription are not available in the marketplace, so the subscription cannot be migrated. This typically happens when the products are either not yet live or are end‑of‑sale. To continue, the customer will need to wait for supported plans to become available or purchase a new subscription using active products.”
