Overview:
Seamless Move enables resellers to transfer Adobe customer subscriptions from one reseller to another. Before using Seamless Move for this purpose, it will be necessary to obtain a reseller change code in the Adobe Admin Console. To obtain information on how to obtain this code, refer to Adobe documentation.
Once you have obtained the reseller change code, you can use Seamless Move to move a customer and the corresponding subscriptions to a different reseller.
Process:
Log in to Xvantage.
Hover over the left navigation menu select My Business, then click Cloud services.
Go to Seamless Move in the left-hand navigation menu. Click on Adobe.
Go to the Reseller Transfer tab.
Enter the Customer ID and the Adobe Authorization Code. Then, click Next.
You can provide additional customer IDs and Adobe approval codes by clicking Add more.
The details of the customer's subscriptions to be imported are displayed. Click Next to continue.
Review the service plan that will be assigned to each selected subscription. If there is no service plan available for the subscription, it will not be possible to import it.
If an SKU is found in several service plans, you must choose one of them before proceeding, making sure that it matches with the correct VIP segment. In this case, the service plans found will be displayed in a drop-down list in the Plan column. Choose one of the plans to continue.
Once the list of subscriptions is displayed, click Submit Request to start the process.
If the migration order is completed successfully, a pop-up message with the migration order number will be displayed.
You may view this created task by going back to My Business > Subscriptions. Then, click the Pending tab.
As a result of this process, the customer and all the corresponding subscriptions will be moved to a different reseller whether they operate under Ingram Micro or a different distributor.
Subtopic 1: Activating Ingram Micro Seamless Move Tool
Process:
Log in to Xvantage.
Search for Ingram Micro Seamless Move, then click Add to cart.
Click the Shopping Cart icon at the top-right and verify the details.
Click Next.
Select the check box to agree with the Terms and Conditions, and then click Buy.
Once provisioned, Seamless Move
will be added to the left navigation panel.
