How to View a Competitors General Information in CRM

Overview:

This article will provide step-by step instructions on how you can view a competitor’s general information in the CRM. 

Process:

1. Go to My Apps and open Okta.

2. In Okta search for Xvantage for Associates(X4A) and open it.

3. Within X4A hover over the left navigation menu and click Sales.

4. Select CRM from the Sales sub-menu.

5. From CRM left navigation menu, scroll down to Sales. Choose Competitors.

6. Locate the competitor you want to check by using the quick search tool or filter function. 

7. Once you’ve pulled out the account, click on the name (hyperlink) to open a full view of their details.

8.  You will be directed to the competitor’s information window. Switch to the General tab.

9. You may opt to view the other tabs as well which also keep related information about the competitor:

   • What’s New

   • Analysis

   • Notes

   • Related (drop-down menu)
